Terms of Service
Last updated 14 July 2026
These terms cover your use of DownDr. By signing in and using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use DownDr.
What the service does
DownDr monitors the external services your application depends on and notifies you when one reports an issue, so you can tell whether a problem is on your side or theirs.
Status information is best-effort
This is the important part. DownDr reads publicly available status pages and feeds from third-party providers. That information can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong, and a provider can be having problems before (or without) updating its status page.
So DownDr is a helpful signal, not a guarantee. Don't rely on it as your only source of truth for critical decisions. The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, uptime, or that every alert will be delivered.
Your account
You sign in with GitHub or Google. You're responsible for activity on your account. Keep it to one account per person, and don't use DownDr to break the law or abuse others.
Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Don't scrape, resell, or redistribute the data as your own product.
- Don't use it to harass, deceive, or harm anyone.
Pricing
DownDr is currently free. Paid plans may be introduced later; we will never charge you without your explicit consent, and you can cancel any paid plan at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DownDr and its makers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from a missed, delayed, or inaccurate alert, or from your reliance on the service.
Termination
You can stop using DownDr and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe is abusive.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top reflects the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
