Privacy Policy
Last updated 14 July 2026
DownDr watches the external services your app depends on and emails you when one has an issue. To do that we need very little about you, and we keep it that way. This page explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with.
What we collect
- Your email address, from the GitHub or Google account you sign in with.
- The dependencies and AI models you choose to watch, and your notification preferences.
- Basic technical logs (e.g. errors) needed to keep the service running.
We do not collect payment information (there is nothing to pay for yet), and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
How we use it
We use your email to sign you in and to send the alert emails you ask for. We use your selected dependencies to build your dashboard and decide which alerts are yours. That is the whole purpose - we do not sell your data or use it for anything else.
Who we share it with
We rely on a few trusted providers (subprocessors) to run DownDr:
- Supabase - database and authentication (hosted in the Mumbai / South Asia region).
- Resend - delivering your alert emails.
- Vercel - hosting the application.
We monitor services by reading their public status pages. We never send your personal data to those third-party services.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, your watched services, models, and notification settings are removed with it.
Your choices
- Turn email alerts off any time in Settings.
- Change or remove the dependencies you watch any time.
- Ask us to export or delete your data by emailing us.
Children
DownDr is a tool for developers and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
